Enjoy an unforgettable 30-minute shallow-water dolphin experience designed for guests who want to get up close and personal with a bottlenose dolphin without having to swim in deep water. Your dolphin interaction takes place in approximately 2 to 3 feet of water, providing a comfortable setting for families, younger children, and guests who prefer staying in shallow water.

With guidance from the professional dolphin training team, you’ll have opportunities to touch, pet, play, interact, and even share a kiss with a dolphin. You’ll also participate in fun dolphin behaviors while learning more about these intelligent and fascinating marine mammals. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience a dolphin face-to-face while creating special vacation memories and plenty of great photo opportunities.

This program is shallow water only. There is no deep-water swimming and no dolphin ride, making it a great alternative for guests who want plenty of hands-on dolphin interaction without participating in the deeper-water Dolphin Swim.

Although your dolphin interaction lasts approximately 30 minutes, plan on about 2 hours for the complete experience, including the dolphin presentation, changing time, your shallow-water dolphin encounter, and time afterward to view your professional photos. Participants must be at least 3 years old. All-day parking is free.

IMPORTANT:

* Participants must be at least 3 years old.
* Children under 5 years old must be accompanied in the water by two paying participants age 18 or older
* Children under 5 years old may need to be held and may not be able to complete all program behaviors
* Children between 5 to 7 years old must be accompanied in the water by one (1) paying participant age 18 or older per one (1) child.
* Guests who are 8 years old and older may participate alone without an adult in the water.

Location: The Dolphin Facility is on the Southern Point of St Augustine Beach, Florida. You will get complete written directions and map links with your ticket.

Dolphin Encounter

* A 30 minute shallow (3 '- 4" feet) water experience.
* The Dolphin Program includes: touching, playing and doing tricks with a dolphin. You will even learn what its like to train a dolphin, getting up-close and personal like never before. (Approximately 2 hours with the Dolphins, Presentation, Changing Time & Photo Lab)
* You DO NOT need to be able to swim in this program.
* Each session is unique, based upon the guests and dolphins.
* A 15 – 20 minute educational classroom presentation prior to entering the water.
General Information

* All participants must be 40″ / 3 feet 4 inches /101cm & minimum of 3 years old.
* Any Child Participants under 40″ / 3'4"/ 122cm must be accompanied by one paying participants over age 18.
* Any Child Participants between 40″ / 3'4" / 122cm and 53″ / 4 feet 5 inches / 134cm must be accompanied by one paying participant over age 18.
* Please note: Children under 48″ may need to be held and may not be able to complete all behaviors and are FREE.
* Anyone 4′ 6″ feet (54″)/137 cm and over in height must pay the ADULT RATE and can participate alone without an adult (18 yr +) in the water with them.
* All dolphin behaviors are at the trainer's discretion for the safety of the guest and the dolphins.
* 20 participants maximum per dolphin session.
* Program Check In Times: 10am or 1pm
* Each Session includes the dolphin program, briefing, & marine exhibits. You could spend 2-3 hours in the facility.
* You will get an opportunity to view Marine Animal Exhibits with Sharks, Marine Life, and Sea Turtles.
* No Pregnant Women
* No Jewelry, Body Piercing, Fingernail Jewelry, Cameras, or Any Outside Objects in the water with the dolphins
* If you have any physical or mental limitation, please contact us before booking
* Must be able to understand directions given in English or have a paid family member or friend in the water to translate.
* Life Vest will be provided at no extra cost. Wet Suits can be provided during Winter months at no cost.
* Guests should bring their own bathing suits & towels.
* Showers, changing room and lockers are provided at no cost.
* Observer will get to watch the person in the water plus get a behind the scenes tour of the facility.
* All tickets include 7% sales tax and 6% Marineland Dolphin Park Ticketing Fee. This fee is imposed by the park and can not be waived.
Location

* Marineland is on the Southern Point of St Augustine Beach, Florida.
* You will get complete ticket and directions either by email or text. You can not get lost.
* Daytona Beach to St Augustine Beach approximately 40 minutes – 1 hour by car.
* Orlando to St Augustine Beach approximately 2 hours by car.
* St Augustine City to St Augustine Beach approximately 30 minutes by car.
* Jacksonville to St Augustine Beach approximately 1 hour by car.
* Free All Day Parking available.
* The Dolphin Facility is on the beach. You will have access to the beach and ocean at no extra cost.
* Limited Food and Snacks are available for purchase. If you want to something more substantial, you should bring your own food.
Photography

* If you have an observer in your group, they can take photos and videos of you during your dolphin program.
* Observer must stay in the observation area.
* There will be professional photographer taking photos (No Video) of you and your group with the dolphins to purchase afterwards.
* NO cameras allowed in the water with the dolphins.
Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received by Dolphin World / Keys Adventure Tours, Inc. in writing by email, dolphinworldresponse@gmail.com. A 10% service charge prior 31 days of activity date. A 50% service charge within 30 – 15 day period prior activity date. A 75% service charge within 14 – 8 day period prior activity date. Prior 8 days of your reservation date, you may change your reservation to a gift certificate, good for 1 year from the date of the certificate plus change fee. Dolphin activities goes on Rain or Shine. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY ACTIVITY PARTICIPANTS who cancel within the 7 day period, does not show up, are late for scheduled program(s). Once a reservation has been made, a change to the scheduled program date is subject to availability. Changes made to existing reservations are subject to a $25.00 per person change fee.

Traveling to the Facility:
Dolphin World will not be responsible for lost or cancelled activity times as a result of air flight delays, travel or transportation delays, war, or acts of God.
